KLAUSTRO/FONIJA is a Croatian freak psych-rock trio that blends garage, post-punk and experimental sounds. Their live shows stand out for their abrasive melodies, pounding grooves, and vocal acrobatics.

They’ve done a few runs across the ex-Yugoslav region and played festivals like Bear Stone (Kerrang review/shoutout), SHIP, and Changeover. In 2025, they joined the North Macedonian independent label Mrtov Konj / Dead Horse and released their debut album, Rigged Phantasies. The album brought them to the attention of the legendary Seattle-based radio station KEXP, where DJ Kevin Cole featured their tracks in his segment.

To promote the album, the band is embarking on their first-ever European tour in autumn 2026.
